This week the pod is broken into two segments; one with Drew and Harrison, the other with Drew and Matthias. Drew and Harry talk Sounders vs Galaxy, and look at how badly the Galaxy would need to eff up to blow MLS Cup 2014. We're back after a brief summer hiatus to talk the MLS playoff stretch, our collegiate basketball careers, and the small stature of Corey Ashe. We also talk to Joe Howard of dreamstartsoccer.com about the launch of his new site devoted to following USA soccer at home and abroad.
Drew and Matthias talk golfing, classic rock concerts, and breakdown the conference playoff battles. They try to figure out of anyone can catch Sporting KC or Seattle, and if teams like Chicago and Portland still have a chance to make the playoffs.
The band is back together for the first time in ages. We get together to talk the potential of MLS stars and their super hero dopplegangers, wrap up the World Cup, talk about the mid-season MLS surprises and disappointments, and conclude with our US Open Cup predictions.
Okay, here is a podcast. This is our weekly podcast that is just simply a podcast. A podcast that stars myself and Drew. A Podcast that I edited to make sound not bad and some what interesting. I encourage you to listen to it. Drew makes lots of good points, I make some too.
Hey everyone, here is our latest exhilarating podcast for your listening pleasure. The delay this week in posting was largely due to us switching to ‘Mixcloud’ for the conceivable hosting future as we move way from our current site and into a domain of our own. Admittedly, we ate up a good 15 minutes in the start of the podcast talking about the Seattle-Portland match, but you saw that coming…right? The rest of the podcast is also solid, and perhaps more importantly, less Cascadia-specific, so don’t give up on it just because of that segment!
Don’t get too excited about the title. We really don’t go into this nearly as much as we probably should have. We draw a lot of our thoughts from the 11tegen11 article that sets the table nicely for the discussion, and we just kind of build around that.
The audio for the first portion is a little maddening. We had a few problems, but everything was cleared up after about the first 20 minutes, so don’t be deterred from finishing this one. There are some good points made by Drew and me, if I may say so, which make it well worth a listen.

We return to review the snooze-fest that was the US Mens game last weekend. Stepping our big toe into a bit of the pre-season waters and turn the talk to some of the major moves around MLS and some of the clubs we’ve seen improve the most over the last few months. Lastly we give you a bit of insight to what’s going on with the site and perhaps something to watch for in the coming months.

This week Matthias and Drew do a quick pod covering the announced 23-man roster for the USMNT’s game vs. Ukraine in Cypress, discussing TFC and the trade of Matias Laba to Vancouver, and closing with a discussion of how data analysis can be used in different contexts.
A couple weeks ago the Opta Pro Forum took place and this week we take a look at some of the different studies that came as a result and some key thoughts that we pulled out of them. Covering such a wide range of topics we invited site friend Chris Gluck to talk with us about some of these various subjects. It was a lot of fun and I think we covered some interesting topics. During the podcast we also mention the movement of Hendry Thomas, who goes from Colorado to Dallas and the current status of Matias Laba with Toronto FC and his impending move away from the club.
